The DEED O.E.M. (Original Equipment Manufacturer) unit shown to the left, is the solution to an overworked and outdated 'Electrical Grid' found throughout Africa and the Caribbean. Problem: The electrical grid is unable to sustain the 'country's load' thereby resulting in frequent power outages and surges destroying or decreasing the life of computer and other important factory equipment. The aged and inefficient grids and transformers result in higher electric costs!!

The equipment replacement costs coupled with 'down-time' and possible loss or delay in factory orders, may and do result in 'lay-offs' to the countries' labour force. The DEED does the deed, it is a low-cost solution to a billion dollar problem. Constant 'surges' in the delivery of electricity is represented by 'peaks' and 'valleys' as if you were looking on a wave measurement. When delivered evenly, electricity would be represented by mild curves with little to no variation. An 'outdated' electric grid and equipment provides an inefficient and uneven flow of electricity resulting in a much higher cost to the end-user. This, in conjunction with the electrical equipment after operating for a period of time becoming 'hot', causes the appliance or factory machinery to utilize more electricity than is needed and decreases the life of the appliance or factory machinery; again accounting for at least 20 to 30% of wasted electricity. The DEED detects equipment that is 'hot' and regulates the amount of electricity to the appliance or factory machinery thereby protecting and increasing the life expectancy of electrical equipment or machinery while recycling and reducing electric cost.
